  1. the pr person for CdG was hired away by prada last year. i don't know why, but that struck me as disloyal. silly. it's just a job. i was over-thinking it, just looking at/contrasting the two labels - such different aesthetics.

  3. no, there is an obvious difference between the two labels. it is disloyal based on my assumption. unless her ideals changed thru time. then, maybe, it was no longer a good fit.

    i remember being obsessed with the drawing of rei and her bangs back then....so cool.

  4. i find some of the headlines off-putting. and where are the asian models?? not pictured or not used?
    i admit i find rei's approach too monk-like at times; but she seems to approach design more on a universal level versus male/female.
    you're very lucky to have this amazing piece of fashion history! thank you to your fashionable mum and your fashionable self!
